Singapore, [27 August 2025] – SEAX Global announced the expansion of its regional presence through a strategic long-term lease of a dedicated private suite at Singapore Global Switch’s Singapore Tai Seng data center. This strategic move underlines SEAX’s commitment to supporting customers’ growing capacity demands and strengthening connectivity across Southeast Asia.
The Tai Seng data centre serves as a critical hub for SEAX-1 – a high-capacity submarine cable system that directly connects Singapore, Mersing (Malaysia), and Batam (Indonesia), forming a robust tri-point network across key Southeast Asian landing stations.
Strategically positioned at the crossroads of regional traffic, SEAX-1 serves as a foundational platform for further connectivity toward major hubs such as Jakarta and Thailand. Its geographic alignment and modular architecture enable seamless extension into broader ASEAN markets, supporting scalable bandwidth growth, low-latency routes, and resilient cross-border connectivity.
